Photography in the Heart of Kent.

The Headcorn Photography Group is a friendly, welcoming community for anyone interested in photography — based in Headcorn and the wider Kent area.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to develop your skills, we meet to share ideas, learn together, and explore the beautiful landscapes and light of the Kent countryside. All abilities, all cameras old new, digital or film, all styles are welcome. I just wanted a fun group for all the photographers out there.

Thank you everyone that showed up for the first meeting (6th Oct) of the Group. Great to meet you all.

Stuff we covered:

Organise trips - every 2/3 months (1 hour from Headcorn max). I will suggest a few places we can go for our first trip out and we can vote for one.

Tutorials/Technical 15 minutes - where a specific techinical topic is discussed.

Monthly competition for pictures set to a theme - November is "Blue", we will all vote for the best one.

Anything else you want the club to be or ideas, just let me know. I want this to be a fun group where we all socialise and enjoy photography. Don’t forget to take those cameras out with you and see what you can find for the "Blue" pictures for November.

The best camera is the one you have with you (phones don't count).

For Novembers meet, it may have to be a Thursay, I will confirm a date here once I get confirmation.
