I offer a a range of workshops on various subject both in small groups and one-to-one tuition. I am the group expert on the Maidstone & Ashford Photography groups on Facebook if you want to go and check those out. I am also a host for Analogue Wonderland for film based events and photo walks.

Workshops and Classes

I offer a range of events and workshops to help develop your skills. Typically £25 per person for 2 hour workshops (12 people max), £50 per person for 3 hour workshops (6 people max) and £100 for one-to-one tuition (3 hours), if you book directly through me.

  • In association with the Maidstone and Ashford Photogrphy group I offer photography classes for small groups of people on a variety of subjects from Street to Black & White, from Landscapes to beginners classes. Prices start at £28 per person for a 2 hour session

  • Have a specific topic you;d like some personal help with? I offer one to one tuition on a topic of your choosing. Prices start at £99 for 3 hours.

  • Have an event coming up that you want covered? I am available for £300 a day or £200 for half day. Contact me for details.

  • If you have something particular in mind? Product images, interiors, portraits etc. Get in touch for pricing.

  • Architecture and Street Workshop

    Really good session in Rye last Saturday - and the weather rose to the challenge too! Dan had clearly done some extensive research beforehand and the whole event ran like clockwork. Very informative and pleasant company. Can thoroughly recommend these sessions to all.

  • Black & White Workshop

    Dan was enthusiastic throughout showing many situations and opportunities for shots. Explaining light, textures and shape. Also included composition with perspective and depths with leading lines not just with hard lines but soft as well. He observed all the attendees with any explanations of queries regularly. Time management was good to cover the ground in two hours in a relaxed way. Thanks Dan.
